Cycle 10 by Psyga315

Format: Commander

Commander: Talrand, Sky Summoner

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Talrand, Sky Summoner is the engine of this mono-blue deck: every instant and sorcery creates a 2/2 flying Drake. The primary plan is to land Talrand on turn 3-4, use cheap cantrips and counterspells to accumulate Drakes, and close the game with flying combat. Time Warp and High Tide provide burst turns, while Jace, Memory Adept and the mill package act as a secondary 'hidden commander' path when the board is stalled. The deck is controlling and flexible, but lacks any true combo or fast finish, so it wins through incremental token advantage and evasion.
