Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Pirate and Vehicle midrange strategy commanded by Edward Kenway. Its primary game plan revolves around deploying aggressive, low-cost Pirates, Assassins, and Vehicles during the early turns, then casting Edward on Turn 4 to convert tapped attackers into a burst of Treasure tokens every end step. This rapid mana acceleration fuels explosive turns and card advantage through vehicle-based combat theft. The deck translates its Treasure hoard into victory through alternate win conditions like Revel in Riches and Hellkite Tyrant, or by overwhelming opponents with multi-combat steps from Port Razer and permanent theft from Admiral Beckett Brass. A robust interaction suite featuring free counterspells like Force of Will and Deflecting Swat defends the board, while efficient black tutors ensure reliable access to finishers. The deck excels at resource generation and mid-game resilience.
