Mutagen Partners by Oz_Prime

Format: Commander

Commander: Donatello, the Brains and Michelangelo, the Heart

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A Simic token/counter build that runs both Partner-Character Turtles: Donatello, the Brains adds a free Mutagen token to every token-producing event, while Michelangelo, the Heart turns attacks into Food and +1/+1 counters. The primary plan is landfall-based token generation (Rampaging Baloths, Sapling Nursery, Eusocial Engineering) amplified by counter doublers and fueled by Tireless Provisioner. Kodama of the East Tree is the hidden commander and winning engine: with a bounce land and Provisioner it makes unlimited Treasure tokens, which Walking Ballista converts into lethal damage. Secondary wins involve Overwhelming Stampede and Ezuri's Predation on a wide board. The pair are support engines rather than essential combo pieces.
