Deck overview

This deck is a four-color control and polymorph strategy built around Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan creates cheap creature tokens during early turns using low-cost generators like Skrelv's Hive and Dreadhorde Invasion. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Jace and immediately uses his −3 loyalty ability to exile a token, revealing and cheating a massive creature or planeswalker directly from the library onto the battlefield. Payoffs include game-ending threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, and Serra's Emissary. Redundant cheat enablers like Proteus Staff, Mass Polymorph, and Synthetic Destiny provide backup without relying solely on the commander. The deck controls the board with versatile spot removal and sweepers while protecting its permanents with Flawless Maneuver and Grand Crescendo. Over two combat cycles, the cheated threats establish a decisive board state and eliminate all opponents by Turn 7.
