-1/-1 Counters BRG by Simba07

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Jund -1/-1 counters. Auntie Ool, Cursewretch is a value engine and combo payoff: Ward-Blight 2 taxes removal, and every counter placement becomes either cards on your creatures or life loss against opponents. The primary plan is to amass blight counters through wither creatures, enchantments, and proliferate, then convert them into a token/drain loop-most efficiently Flourishing Defenses plus High Perfect Morcant, or Hapatra and Blowfly Infestation. The deck also has a robust recursion package (Necroskitter, The Reaper, Persist) that steals or rebuys creatures with counters. Victory comes from infinite Elf/Snake tokens, repeated drain triggers, or a locked board via Kulrath Knight. A hidden commander, High Perfect Morcant, drives an Elf-token loop that ends games through Auntie Ool's drain.
