Deck overview

This is a midrange Dimir Zombie-tribal deck helmed by The Scarab God. The plan is to bury the table under a critical mass of cheap recursive Zombies and Zombie tokens, pump that board with a dense lord package, and finish through either combat or drain triggers. The commander is a true value engine rather than a required component: its upkeep trigger drains life and scrys for each Zombie you control, and its activated ability turns the best creature in any graveyard into a 4/4 black Zombie copy at instant speed. The 99 runs the game plan on its own with cards like Gravecrawler, Diregraf Colossus, eight-plus lord effects, and a mass-reanimation suite (Zombie Apocalypse, Rise of the Dark Realms) that rebuilds after wipes. There are no infinite combos; wins come from overwhelming swarms, Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion, and repeated drain from Vengeful Dead, Plague Belcher, and Diregraf Captain.
