Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color midrange control and Voltron deck commanded by Thanos, the Mad Titan. The strategy focuses on controlling the battlefield through asymmetric sweepers and spot removal while assembling Thanos with his full WUBRG+C color requirements. On the turn Thanos enters, his Power-up ability discounts to just {C}{U}{G}, clearing either odd- or even-costed opposing creatures and growing him into a 6/6 lifelink deathtouch threat. From there, the deck equips or enchants Thanos with devastating game-enders such as Super State, Vorpal Sword, or Glistening Oil to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. A dense suite of low-cost countermagic and protection spells shields key threats from removal, while villain synergies and card draw engines ensure a steady stream of resources throughout the game.
