Format: Commander

Commander: Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk is a transformational extra-combat deck. The front side is a cheap command-zone draw outlet; the back side is an 8/8 Gamma Berserker whose enrage turns any damage taken while attacking into an untap, a +1/+1 counter, and an additional combat phase. The deck accelerates with mana dorks, Sol Ring, and land-tutors like Cultivate and Farseek, drops Bruce early, then transforms by turns 4-5 and uses fight spells plus enrage bodies such as Brash Taunter, Red Hulk, and Wolvrine, Fierce Fighter to damage Hulk mid-combat and chain extra combats. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads commander damage to every opponent, so three or four Hulks swings can kill the pod. Secondary beats come from Aggravated Assault, Savage Beating, Scourge of the Throne, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Bloodthirster, with hidden Hulk-tribal support in Hulk, Strongest There Is and Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy.
