Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red Dragon/Treasure deck helmed by Smaug the Magnificent. The plan is to amass a critical mass of Treasure tokens, then convert them into lethal damage through Smaug's attack trigger, which deals damage equal to the number of Treasures you control. Twinflame Tyrant doubles that damage, Desert Were-Worm grants extra combat steps, and The Reaver Cleaver snowballs treasures on hit. Secondary wins include Hellkite Tyrant's 20-artifact trigger and Knuckles the Echidna's 30-artifact trigger. Magda, Brazen Outlaw serves as a repeatable tutor for Dragons and artifacts, while Xorn, Academy Manufactor, and Descent into Avernus multiply treasure production. The deck is a mid-speed value engine that wins through overwhelming artifact density and commander damage.
