Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, leveraging a Villains kindred theme to overwhelm opponents through combat and burn. The game plan focuses on deploying early Villain creatures, generating menace tokens, and triggering connive to filter cards while growing your board. Discarded lands trigger direct life drain on each opponent, while nonland discards pump your attackers with +1/+1 counters. Anthems and top-end threats like The Squadron Sinister, Iron Monger, and Doctor Octopus turn moderate token swarms into lethal, evasive attack waves. A robust removal suite featuring Toxic Deluge, Bedevil, and Kindred Dominance clears opposing threats, while Archfiend of Ifnir leverages discard triggers to decimate opposing boards. The deck wins by grinding down life totals and closing with overwhelming menace combat damage.
