Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy token swarm strategy powered by Baylen, the Haymaker and 25 copies of Hare Apparent. The plan uses early ramp to deploy Baylen on Turn 3, followed by chaining Hare Apparent casts on Turn 4. Because each Hare checks for other creatures named Hare Apparent, token generation grows exponentially with each cast. Baylen converts these tokens into mana, card advantage, and power buffs immediately, ignoring summoning sickness. On Turn 5, the deck establishes critical onset by deploying Thrumming Stone to ripple through the library, triggering ETB damage from Impact Tremors or Agate Instigator, or setting up an insurmountable board with Cathars' Crusade. Robust protection like Grand Abolisher, Teferi's Protection, and Clever Concealment shields the board against disruption, allowing the deck to close the game reliably on Turn 5 or Turn 6.
