Deck overview

This deck centers on The Infamous Cruelclaw to bypass the heavy mana costs of massive Rakdos game-enders. By casting Cruelclaw on Turn 3 and attacking on Turn 4, the deck exiles into guaranteed high-impact nonland cards, discarding extra cards in hand to cast devastating bombs for free. The payload includes board-clearing monsters, game-ending dragons, and mass reanimation spells like Rise of the Dark Realms and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. Secondary discard outlets and incidental self-mill feed the graveyard, enabling backup reanimation lines through Reanimate and Sepulchral Primordial. While the deck generates immense mana velocity when Cruelclaw connects, it relies heavily on combat connections and basic land drops due to a lack of cheap mana rocks. Winning games involves establishing an overwhelming board presence on Turn 4, suppressing opposing blockers with cards like Archfiend of Depravity, and closing out the table with direct burn and combat damage by Turn 7.
