Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos Vampire tribal deck commanded by Strefan, Maurer Progenitor. The primary strategy focuses on dealing incremental damage to each opponent on early turns using cheap enablers like Voldaren Epicure and Creeping Bloodsucker to generate multiple Blood tokens on Strefan's end step. By Turn 4 or 5, Strefan attacks and sacrifices two Blood tokens to cheat massive, game-warping Vampires such as Vein Ripper, Olivia's Attendants, or Crossway Troublemakers directly onto the battlefield tapped, attacking, and indestructible. A strong reanimation package featuring Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Patriarch's Bidding capitalizes on Blood token discard outlets to resurrect threats if Strefan is removed. The deck maintains lethal pressure through compounding combat damage and wide life-drain triggers, closing games around Turn 7 while keeping opposing boards in check with efficient spot removal and asymmetric sweepers.
