New Untitled Deck by user7924388

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger deck uses Fire Lord Azula as an attack-triggered copy engine. When Azula attacks she adds {R}{R} and copies every instant or sorcery you cast, doubling triggers from pingers like Guttersnipe, Electrostatic Field, Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather and Fiery Inscription. The primary plan is to grind opponents with copied cantrips and rituals while drawing through Archmage Emeritus and Artist's Talent. Secondary wins are compact combos: Dualcaster Mage + Twinflame for infinite hasty tokens, Curiosity on Niv-Mizzet, Parun for draw-damage loop, and an Azula storm loop with Storm-Kiln Artist, Primal Wellspring, Frantic Search and Narset's Reversal. Kess, Dissident Mage acts as hidden commander, recasting key spells from the graveyard.
