Format: Commander

Commander: Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk leads a Temur strategy that leans heavily into combat damage, +1/+1 counters, and repeated extra combat phases. The primary plan is to transform Bruce into Hulk, then use his enrage trigger-damage dealt to him while attacking-to untap and generate an additional combat phase. The deck amplifies this with fight spells like The Last Agni Kai and mass damage effects such as Blasphemous Act to trigger the enrage repeatedly in a single turn. Secondary win conditions include Warstorm Surge with large creature ETBs, Beastmaster Ascension for an overrun-style kill, and the raw power of high-toughness beaters like Maelstrom Wanderer and Avatar of Slaughter. The commander is a key engine but not irreplaceable; the deck can still win through conventional combat if Hulk is neutralized.
