Deck overview

This Baylen, the Haymaker deck operates as a high-synergy Naya token engine that converts wide permanent production into mana, card advantage, and lethal combat pressure. Baylen acts as an Earthcraft and draw engine directly from the command zone, turning tokens generated by cards like Hop to It, Ocelot Pride, and Scute Swarm into immediate resource velocity. Rather than relying on infinite combos, the deck overwhelms opponents by stacking wide board states with multipliers like Parallel Lives and Neyali, Suns' Vanguard, while Baylen provides massive tall trample damage. A strong suite of protective spells including Teferi's Protection, Flare of Fortitude, and Grand Crescendo ensures that creature swarms survive opposing sweepers long enough to dismantle the table over several aggressive combat steps.
