Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact combo-control strategy commanded by Sydri, Galvanic Genius. It aims to assemble compact infinite mana engines—specifically Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, or Grand Architect paired with Pili-Pala. Once infinite mana and untaps are active, it channels resources through outlets like Shorikai, Genesis Engine or large draw spells to empty its library, finishing all opponents simultaneously with Psychosis Crawler or self-mill payoffs like Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Laboratory Maniac. In slower games, the deck pivots into oppressive board locks by pairing Sydri, Galvanic Genius with Caltrops to wipe attacking creatures via deathtouch, or combining Teferi's Puzzle Box with Narset, Parter of Veils or Notion Thief to systematically strip opponents of all cards in hand. A dense Transmute package ensures high consistency across both combo and control roles.
