Deck overview

This deck is a Jund group-slug and delirium attrition engine commanded by Winter, Misanthropic Guide. The central game plan accelerates Winter onto the battlefield on Turn 3 or 4, rapidly filling the graveyard with diverse permanent types to achieve delirium. Once active, Winter suppresses each opponent's maximum hand size to two or three cards. Although Winter draws each player two cards every upkeep, the deck breaks symmetry by deploying vicious discard punishers like Painful Quandary, Entropic Battlecruiser, and Waste Not. Opponents are forced into painful choices: lose large amounts of life during their turns or discard their excess cards at cleanup while triggering severe burn. The deck grinds the table down through cumulative life loss and token swarms by Turn 8. Because Winter hands opponents extra resources and the deck lacks targeted protection, pilot awareness of opposing interaction windows is paramount.
