Deck overview

This Grixis deck leverages Fire Lord Azula as an aggressive spellslinger engine that generates combat mana and doubles spells cast during attacks. While Azula provides strong mid-game card flow and velocity through duplicated draw spells, the deck's primary victory condition is an efficient infinite combo centered on Dualcaster Mage and clone spells such as Electroduplicate or Saw in Half. Backed by cheap 1-2 CMC mana rocks, cost-reducing creatures, and transmute tutors, the deck reliably establishes its winning line by Turn 4 or 5. A robust interaction package of low-cost countermagic and removal protects the combo turn, while secondary synergies like Narset, Parter of Veils and Notion Thief paired with Windfall strip opposing hands and lock out interaction.
