Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo control strategy that uses Wiccan, Rising Magician to generate card advantage and board control before executing an infinite mana loop. Wiccan's ability temporarily exiles nonland permanents whenever a noncreature spell is cast, turning cheap artifacts like Ichor Wellspring and Lembas or removal like Reality Acid into recurring engines. The primary win condition revolves around casting Ghostly Flicker or Displace on Peregrine Drake and a recursion creature such as Archaeomancer, Shipwreck Dowser, or Mnemonic Wall. This produces infinite mana, allowing the pilot to draw the deck and repeatedly flicker Sunscorched Desert to burn out all opponents simultaneously. Backed by a dense package of countermagic and bounce spells, the deck reliably navigates through disruption to close the game on Turn 5.
