Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Tempo Reanimator strategy commanded by Raffine, Scheming Seer. It establishes an early board with cheap, evasive creatures like Slither Blade and Faerie Seer, then casts Raffine to convert wide attacks into massive connive triggers. Conniving rapidly sculpts the hand, places +1/+1 counters on attackers, and dumps game-ending threats into the graveyard. The deck leverages efficient reanimation spells such as Reanimate and Priest of Fell Rites to cheat monsters like Archfiend of Ifnir, Baleful Force, and Hullbreaker Horror into play ahead of curve. Discard synergies trigger madness spells like Big Game Hunter and Kitchen Imp for mana-efficient tempo swings. The deck protects its proactive board and disrupts opponents using a dense package of low-mana counterspells and spot removal, steadily closing out the game with lethal flying and unblockable combat damage.
