Deck overview

This deck is a Temur X-spells and +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Magus Lucea Kane. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early ramp to cast Lucea Kane on Turn 3, untapping on Turn 4 to double powerful X-cost creature and draw spells. By Turn 5, the deck establishes critical onset by copying massive threats like Shivan Devastator, Voracious Hydra, or Genesis Hydra. Trample enablers such as Garruk's Uprising and unblockable effects from Herald of Secret Streams ensure massive combat damage pushes through blockers, while direct burn from Jaya's Immolating Inferno and Comet Storm provides reach to close out the game on Turn 7. The deck generates extraordinary mana velocity and card advantage when copying X-spells, but remains reliant on untapping with its commander and vulnerable to well-timed board wipes.
