Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toxrill, the Corrosive is a slow, interactive control commander. The deck aims to reach seven mana, resolve Toxrill, and let its end-step slime counters shrink opposing boards while generating Slug tokens that can be sacrificed for cards. From there, it grinds out advantages with death triggers, recursion, and artifact draw, then wins through repeated commander damage or evasive artifact threats. The two Demonic Tutor effects and deep draw package make the plan consistent, but the deck lacks a fast combo or a mass-burn finisher. It is highly dependent on keeping Toxrill alive, and it cannot remove resolved artifacts or enchantments, so the primary route to victory is a long, mana-hungry attrition game.
