Deck overview

This Commander deck is an aggressive, high-synergy Wurm tribal strategy led by Atla Palani, Nest Tender. The primary game plan accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2 to deploy Atla on turn 3, followed by making and cracking Egg tokens on turn 4 using sacrifice outlets like Skullclamp, Ashnod's Altar, or Goblin Bombardment. Cheating gargantuan Wurms directly from the library—such as Worldspine Wurm, Impervious Greatwurm, and Armada Wurm—creates an overwhelming board presence by turn 5. Trample enablers like Baru, Wurmspeaker and Bellowing Tanglewurm ensure combat damage pushes through opposing defenses, steadily knocking out players across turns 5 through 7. While the deck possesses massive power and resilience against traditional destroy sweepers thanks to Atla's death triggers, it relies heavily on its commander and remains vulnerable to mass exile effects, requiring careful sequencing of protection and sacrifice engines.
