Kambal, Go Value (Orzhov) by user8072958

Format: Commander

Commander: Kambal, Profiteering Mayor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kambal, Profiteering Mayor is an Orzhov token-drain deck that turns both its own tokens and the tokens it gives opponents into life loss. The primary plan is to establish a token source, multiply it with Anointed Procession and Mondrak, then convert the board into drain via Kambal, Elas il-Kor, Zulaport Cutthroat, and sacrifice outlets. Secondary paths include Thalisse end-step bursts, Tribute to Horobi rat theft, and a go-wide flying finish from Inkshield or The War Games. The commander is the engine: his first ability copies opponent tokens, and his second ability drains whenever your tokens enter. Thalisse, Reverent Medium acts as a hidden commander-scale payoff. The deck has no infinite combo and wins incrementally, so it needs to protect Kambal and time its burst.
