Dwarves and dragons by doogain

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is the mana engine and pump of a Boros Dwarf-token deck. The primary plan is to chain Dwarf enters-triggers into Treasures, then use artifact-token count to make the team huge and end with double-strike combat. Secondary paths are Magda, Brazen Outlaw tutoring Smaug the Magnificent or Hellkite Tyrant, and a token-multiplier package around Anointed Procession. Magda acts as a hidden commander: her Dwarf-pump and five-Treasure tutor line justify building around her. The deck is a midrange/value build that can armor up a single equipped Dwarf or go wide with X-token effects, with Smothering Tithe and There and Back Again as explosive accelerants.
