Deck overview

This four-color deck leverages the Friends Forever partner pairing of Elmar, Ulvenwald Informant and Hargilde, Kindly Runechanter to anchor an artifact-centric Phyrexian Splicer and blink archetype. By casting cheap artifact spells and triggering Elmar's second-spell investigate ability alongside Hargilde's two-mana artifact ramp, the deck rapidly establishes board presence. It relies on entering-the-battlefield triggers from creatures like Blade Splicer, Master Splicer, and Darksteel Splicer to produce an army of 3/3 colorless Golem artifact tokens. Continuous flicker engines such as Brago, King Eternal, Soulherder, and Teleportation Circle repeatedly blink Splicers to generate an insurmountable token swarm, which is further multiplied by Doubling Season, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, and Elspeth, Storm Slayer. The deck converts this mass of artifacts into game-ending combat pressure through overrun effects like Craterhoof Behemoth and Craterclaw Colossus, or via token conversion with Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer.
