Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Rakdos spellslinger strategy built around Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan focuses on deploying inexpensive Wizard creatures and casting cheap noncreature spells to flood the board with 0/1 Wizard tokens. Once four Wizards are assembled, Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, which doubles all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck then chains low-cost instants, sorceries, and burn spells to deal massive, symmetric damage across all three opponents simultaneously. Mana velocity is supported by low-cost mana rocks, rituals, and treasure-generating spells like Storm-Kiln Artist and Big Score. Card selection relies on high functional redundancy and efficient looting spells. A robust removal suite featuring Snuff Out, Toxic Deluge, and redirection tools like Return the Favor keeps opposing threats in check. While vulnerable to mass creature sweepers and lacking universal tutors, the deck presents an explosive clock that can burn out the entire table in two burst turns.
