New Mana Ability Rules Are Interesting by nightflier

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashnod the Uncaring

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis artifact-sacrifice value engine helmed by Ashnod the Uncaring, whose ability copies any activated ability that sacrifices a permanent. Every Aether Spellbomb, Executioner's Capsule, and Pyrite Spellbomb becomes doubled value - two draws, two kills, four damage. The deck grinds card advantage by sacrificing artifacts, then recurs them through Scrap Trawler, Junk Diver, Myr Retriever, and Emry, Lurker of the Loch. Wins come from Krark-Clan Ironworks loops with drain outlets like Mayhem Devil and Marionette Apprentice, the Aetherflux Reservoir life-total kill, or Bolas's Citadel storming off the top of the library. It plays as a midrange-combo hybrid: early value and token generation, then a compact infinite loop to close the game.
