Deck overview

This is a high-speed competitive Izzet combo and storm deck led by Vivi Ornitier. The strategy focuses on rapid acceleration using zero- and one-mana artifacts into an early commander or engine deployment on Turn 2. Vivi Ornitier turns every noncreature spell into table-wide burn and a growing mana ritual. When paired with draw engines like Curiosity or Tandem Lookout, every spell draws three cards, fueling explosive storm sequences. The deck reliably closes games on Turn 3 via deterministic loops: either through Underworld Breach escaping Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond to mill out opponents, or via Niv-Mizzet, Parun ping chains. A premier free countermagic suite protects the combo turn, while cards like Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun shut off opposing responses entirely. The deck operates with extreme efficiency, redundancy, and resilience across multiple independent angles.
