Deck overview

This is a Arcades, the Strategist defender-tribal "walls beatdown" deck. The primary plan is to play a thick board of 27 defender creatures, resolve Arcades, the Strategist to turn every additional defender into a cantrip, and then swing with those defenders assigning combat damage equal to their toughness. The deck layers several redundant toughness/attack enablers - High Alert, Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, and Rolling Stones - so it can keep functioning even when the commander is answered. Evasion comes primarily from Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, which makes the 0-power wall army unblockable. The kill is a single overwhelming alpha strike, usually amplified by Tower Defense, Akroma's Will, Tree of Redemption, or The Pride of Hull Clade. Prison pieces like Meekstone, Blind Obedience, and Grand Abolisher buy time while the wall swarm reaches critical mass.
