Deck overview

This Cormela, Glamour Thief deck is a Grixis spellslinger strategy focused on copying utility and burn creatures to overwhelm opponents. Early turns prioritize deploying 2-CMC mana rocks and cost reducers to cast Cormela and engine creatures ahead of curve. The deck leverages single-target clone spells like Quasiduplicate, Cackling Counterpart, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication, expanding their scope using radiating anchors such as Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon. Win conditions center on noncombat burn from Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Kessig Flamebreather, supplemented by token swarms from Murmuring Mystic and Sedgemoor Witch. A potential infinite recursion loop exists with Cormela, Saw in Half, and a cost reducer, though the lack of dedicated tutors makes organic synergy the primary game plan. While fragile against sweepers and reliant on untapping with key creatures, the deck generates high burst turns and rebuilds efficiently through graveyard mechanics.
