Deck overview

This Sultai deck blends Zombie tribal synergy with graveyard recursion helmed by Muldrotha, the Gravetide. The game plan focuses on establishing early Zombie presence using efficient token generators like Dreadhorde Invasion and Diregraf Colossus, scaling up into powerful lords like Death Baron and Lord of the Accursed. Once Muldrotha, the Gravetide or The Scarab God enters the battlefield on turn 6, the deck grinds out substantial card advantage by replaying permanents from the graveyard. It pressures opponents through evasive combat and cumulative life drain, supported by an alternate infinite combo in Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. The deck's primary limitations stem from thin low-cost ramp and a lack of instant-speed interaction or protection spells. This makes its high-mana curve susceptible to fast combo decks and sweeping exile effects. When allowed to develop its mana base, it creates a resilient, self-sustaining attrition engine.
