Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dinosaur Midrange strategy led by the partner pairing of Blue, Loyal Raptor and Owen Grady, Raptor Trainer. The game plan focuses on rapid early mana acceleration to deploy both commanders and curve into high-impact prehistoric threats. Owen Grady places keyword counters—such as haste, trample, menace, or reach—onto target Dinosaurs. Blue then amplifies this ability by granting copies of every counter type on herself to each subsequent Dinosaur entering your battlefield. Combined with counter-granting tech like Agent's Toolkit and Slippery Bogbonder, your massive Dinosaurs enter with immediate haste, hexproof, and shield counters. Powerful card-draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Temur Ascendancy, and The Great Henge keep your hand full as you deploy game-ending threats like Etali, Primal Conqueror, Vaultborn Tyrant, and Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant. The deck can also execute an infinite token loop with Marauding Raptor and Polyraptor, turning lethal with Wrathful Raptors.
