Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Maelstrom Wanderer to execute an aggressive big-mana cascade strategy. The deck spends its first four turns accelerating its mana base using green ramp sorceries and artifact rocks to reach eight mana by turn 5. Upon casting the commander, double cascade triggers to cheat two high-impact spells onto the stack for free while granting all creatures haste. The creature suite is packed with massive threats such as Apex Devastator, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Terror of the Peaks, which deal immediate combat and direct damage upon arrival. Because cascade triggers on cast, the deck pushes through countermagic with ease. Although it deliberately foregoes cheap interactive counterspells and stax pieces to keep cascade hits consistently impactful, its sheer volume of power and high-velocity board rebuilding makes it an explosive mid-game juggernaut.
