Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir tempo strategy commanded by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan accelerates out cheap, unblockable one-drop creatures on Turn 1, enabling Commander ninjutsu on Turn 2 to deploy Yuriko directly into combat. When Yuriko and supporting Ninjas deal combat damage, their triggers reveal cards from the top of the library, placing them into hand and dealing direct damage equal to their mana value to every opponent simultaneously. The deck leverages top-deck manipulation like Brainstorm, Sensei's Divining Top, and Lim-Dûl's Vault to deliberately reveal massive-cost cards like Draco, Shadow of Mortality, and Temporal Trespass, creating explosive group-wide life loss. Supported by a dense suite of one- and two-mana counterspells and removal spells, the deck protects its board state while drawing several cards per combat step, routinely eliminating all three opponents by Turn 5 through unavoidable life loss.
