Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya go-wide aggressive strategy piloted by Kudo, King Among Bears. Kudo establishes a unique symmetrical battlefield condition by setting the base power and toughness of all other creatures to 2/2 and making them Bears. The deck breaks this symmetry by deploying static anthem effects, +1/+1 counter engines, and tribal buffs that turn its own army into 3/3s, 4/4s, and larger while shrinking opposing massive threats down to 2/2s. Supported by token generators like Torens, Fist of the Angels, Silk, Web Weaver, and Hop to It, the deck rapidly builds a wide board presence. It pressures the table starting around Turn 6 with massive power multipliers such as Cathars' Crusade and Beorn the Fierce, aiming to eliminate all opponents through combat by Turn 8. Additionally, the list houses a compact two-card infinite combo with Herd Baloth and Cathars' Crusade to generate infinite tokens and counters.
