Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Spellslinger combo engine commanded by Iroh, Grand Lotus. The strategy revolves around filling the graveyard with efficient Lesson spells and instant/sorcery cantrips during the early turns. Once Iroh enters the battlefield, all Lessons in the graveyard gain flashback for just {1}, turning the graveyard into an expansive second hand. By combining this low-cost recursion with Magecraft mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Electro, Assaulting Battery, the deck generates immense mana and storm count in a single turn. The deck finishes games cleanly on Turn 6 by converting high spell velocity into direct table damage through Guttersnipe, Longshot, Rebel Bowman, Vivi Ornitier, or Aetherflux Reservoir. Strong interactive spells, uncounterable protection from Hexing Squelcher, and recursive defensive Lessons provide resilience against enemy disruption while advancing the primary storm plan.
