Budget Etali by Buddadragon

Format: Commander

Commander: Etali, Primal Storm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a high-variance, Mono-Red "Big Mana" strategy helmed by Etali, Primal Storm. The primary objective is to accelerate into Etali as quickly as possible, grant it haste, and leverage its attack trigger to cheat massive threats-specifically high-CMC Eldrazi and Dragons-into play for free. The deck utilizes a heavy suite of haste enablers like Rising of the Day and Hammer of Purphoros to ensure Etali provides immediate value. The win condition is overwhelming board presence and combat damage, supplemented by extra combat phases from Combat Celebrant, Port Razer, and Scourge of the Throne. While the deck lacks traditional infinite combos, it achieves inevitability through the Annihilator triggers of Eldrazi titans like Pathrazer of Ulamog and Breaker of Creation, alongside the explosive "free cast" potential of Sunbird's Invocation and Breaching Dragonstorm.
