Format: Commander

Commander: Rose Tyler and The Tenth Doctor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Ninth Doctor and Rose Tyler form a time-counter pairing focused on generating extra upkeep steps and growing Rose for commander damage. The deck uses suspend, vanishing, and other time counter permanents to extract repeat value from the extra upkeep triggers. Win conditions include Rose Tyler's 21-point commander damage assisted by menace or unblockable effects, The Millennium Calendar's 1,000-counter drain, or Super State granting a creature double-striking trample to eliminate full pods. The engine is heavily reliant on both commanders; losing either slows the deck significantly.
