Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and artifact token strategy led by Saheeli, Jewel of Avishkar. The game plan revolves around casting cheap noncreature spells—such as cantrips, mana rocks, and efficient countermagic—to amass an evasive army of flying 1/1 Thopters that immediately gain haste from Saheeli. The deck supplements combat damage with passive burn damage from Impact Tremors, Firebrand Archer, and Guttersnipe. Once a critical mass of artifact creatures is assembled by Turn 5 or 6, the deck converts wide token boards into decisive lethal strikes using massive anthem and overrun effects like Craterclaw Colossus, Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut, or Balmor, Battlemage Captain. A rich interaction suite of cheap counterspells and asymmetric bounce spells like Desynchronization protects your board and disrupts opponents.
