Format: Commander

Commander: Avatar Roku, Firebender

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Avatar Roku, Firebender is a mono-red attack-mana commander: his six-red attack trigger both fuels direct-damage spells and turns on the deck's firebending horde. The main plan is to build a wide board of firebending attackers, amplify that board with Sozin's Comet or Fated Firepower, then convert combat red into a huge, kicked Comet Storm aimed at all opponents. Fire Nation Archers provides a parallel repeatable burn line, while Dark Depths and Inferno of the Star Mounts are independent alternative finishing clocks. The Legend of Roku // Avatar Roku acts as a hidden backup: its saga face filters and its flipped face gives an extra firebending Avatar, but the deck is built around the actual Commander.
