Deck overview

Human Torch is a four-color spells-and-combat commander who turns a single noncreature spell per turn into flying, double strike, and haste on his own body-then converts his combat damage into table-wide splash damage. The deck's plan is to use cheap pump spells and power doublers (Bulk Up, Unleash Fury, Xenagos, God of Revels, Bear Umbra) to make one massive double-striking attack, pay the {R}{G}{W}{U} attack-trigger cost, and let the delayed damage triggers, amplified by Annie Joins Up, Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, and Mister Fantastic, kill all three opponents in a single turn-especially with Seize the Day's extra combat. A secondary Hero/spells-matter value package (Whirlwind of Thought, Valeria Richards, Precocious, Crystal, Inhuman Princess, Aragorn, the Uniter) provides card flow and a token-beatdown fallback if the commander is stonewalled.
