Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain typal aggro-midrange strategy led by Loki, the Deceiver. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost, high-utility Villain creatures that leverage connive triggers and combat damage abilities. Once Loki enters the battlefield, attacking allows you to create temporary nonlegendary token copies of your strongest Villains, doubling up on powerful static and combat triggers while drawing extra cards whenever your Villains deal combat damage. Payoffs like Titania, Proud Pummeler grant cascading melee buffs across the board, while Living Laser and Blade of Selves rapidly multiply your attacking force. The deck supports this aggressive clock with versatile board wipes like Kindred Dominance and Toxic Deluge, alongside targeted removal to clear opposing blockers. While it lacks stack interaction and instant-speed protection, its dense creature redundancy ensures sustained combat pressure.
