Commander: Ms. Bumbleflower

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Bant +1/+1 counters deck, helmed by Ms. Bumbleflower, is a value-driven engine that converts spellcasting into card draw and counter accumulation. The commander's triggered ability puts a +1/+1 counter on a creature and gives an opponent a card, then on the second trigger each turn draws you two cards. The deck exploits this loop with counter doublers like Hardened Scales and Kami of Whispered Hopes, card-draw amplifiers such as Teferi's Ageless Insight and Proft's Eidetic Memory, and a suite of alternate win conditions: Twenty-Toed Toad (20+ counters or 20 cards in hand), Psychosis Crawler (drain on each draw), and Simic Ascendancy (20 growth counters). The game plan is to deploy early ramp, land the commander on turn 4, then chain multiple spells per turn to grow a threat while burying opponents in card advantage. A modest stax package (Drannith Magistrate, Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, Ghostly Prison) protects the engine and slows opponents.
