selvala, explorer returned by AROY822

Format: Commander

Commander: Selvala, Explorer Returned

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Selvala, Explorer Returned leads a Selesnya creature-and-counter deck that turns life gain and +1/+1 counters into card advantage and huge attackers. The primary plan is to develop a wide board, grow it with counters, and finish with trampling dinosaurs or Elspeth emblems. Selvala accelerates mana and draws cards for the whole table, so the deck tries to convert that early burst into a faster, bigger board than opponents can answer. Secondary paths include tutoring for Ajani, Inspiring Leader via Goldmane Griffin, Finale of Devastation for a giant creature, and planeswalker ultimates. The deck is built to use Selvala's parley as a mana engine, not as a combo piece.
