New Untitled Deck by Volatile

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black attrition/midrange deck helmed by Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath, built around demons, sacrifice effects, discard, and graveyard recursion. The plan is to strip opposing hands and boards with edict creatures and targeted discard, then grind ahead by reanimating the same value creatures while the commander supplies a repeatable 5/5 flying Demon token and a life buffer. Late game, the deck closes with Exsanguinate, Profane Command, a graveyard-fueled Lotleth Giant, or an army of hasty Demons under Ardyn, the Usurper. It also has a nasty soft lock when Mornsong Aria is paired with Ob Nixilis, Unshackled, turning every opponent draw step into 13 life lost and a forced sacrifice. There are no infinite combos, very little fast mana, and a dangerously low land count, so the deck is a slow, grinding value engine rather than a fast bracket-4 combo deck.
