Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black life-as-resource deck is built around K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, converting life into mana to cheat costs and accelerate the game. Its primary win condition is the infinite life-drain loop of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, supported by Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drains, Syr Konrad, the Grim milling, and Repay in Kind life-swap combos. The deck leverages potent draw engines like Necrodominance and Phyrexian Arena, along with repeatable recursion from Phyrexian Reclamation and Whip of Erebos, to maintain card flow and recover from disruption. It plays a midrange drain-and-ramp strategy that can pivot between a single-turn combo kill and incremental life loss over several turns.
