Sauron, the Dark Lord by m1ny57

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck is a fair amass/aristocrats build centered on Sauron the Dark Lord. It creates one large Army with repeatable amass triggers, then converts Army combat damage into a Ring tempt that lets Sauron discard a hand to draw four. Secondary lines use Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Mayhem Devil, and Goblin Bombardment to turn creature deaths into life loss, with mass reanimation from Funeral Room // Awakening Hall as a late payoff. There is no hidden commander; Saruman the White Hand effectively multiplies the amass plan from the 99. The deck wins by grinding out resources and finishing with a giant Army swing plus death triggers rather than a deterministic combo.
