Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck executes a Grixis midrange and beatdown strategy centered around Sauron, the Dark Lord. It builds a tall Army token by leveraging passive amass triggers whenever opponents cast spells, supported by efficient amass spells. Connecting in combat with an Army triggers the Ring tempts you mechanic, which allows Sauron to continuously wheel your hand into four fresh cards. The primary path to victory is overwhelming opponents through heavy combat damage using evasive or trample enablers like Cover of Darkness and Orcish Siegemaster, augmented by non-combat burn engines such as All Will Be One and The Great Goblin.
